On July 1, the graduation ceremony for the Class of 2026 international students majoring in Tourism Management was held at the Chongbin Building. Qu Zhong, a member of CCMU’s Party Committee and Vice President; Sun Yuzhong, Director of International Cooperation and Exchange Center; Zheng Bing, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of Culture and Tourism; Chen Na, Dean of the School of Culture and Tourism; and faculty members attended the ceremony, which was hosted by teacher Yang Yuzhuo. 相关阅读
Before the graduation ceremony began, the class teacher, Ms. Yang, showed the students a video documenting their three years of study and life on campus, evoking fond memories of their time in Chongqing and on campus. Ms. Yang then gave a speech, expressing her delight and pride in how all the students had overcome language and cultural barriers to successfully complete their studies, and gave blessings and advice to the graduates. 相关阅读
Chen Na presented diplomas to each of the 24 graduates and took a group photo with them. A graduate representative, A Long, reflected on his journey at the school and expressed his gratitude to all teachers. He said that after graduation, he would use the knowledge and skills he had acquired in China, along with the friendships he had formed during his time at the CCMU, to pursue his personal aspirations and serve as a friendly ambassador for cultural exchange between China and other countries.
Liang Ruyue, a representative of the teachers, expressed her hope that all graduates would use the knowledge they have gained to build a solid foundation for their lives and forge ahead with resilience; no matter where their paths may lead or what achievements they may attain, CCMU will always be the warmest haven for all students.
Zheng Bing acknowledged the growth and progress all students had made over the past three years, encouraging everyone to integrate their personal aspirations into the tide of progress and to shine on the broader world stage.
Qu Zhong extended his warm congratulations to all students and shared three expectations for them: 1. In the rapidly developing tourism industry, make lifelong learning and the habit of reading and thinking;2. Regardless of the tourism-related profession they pursue, they should serve society with professionalism and promote the development of global tourism; 3. He hoped everyone can become ambassadors of cultural exchange, bring the knowledge they have gained in China back to their home countries, tell China’s stories well, build bridges of friendship between China and other nations, and promote a human community with a share future.
As the final part of the graduation ceremony, all faculty and students sang the song “Farewell” together. Afterward, everyone gathered for a group photo.
