On January 12, Tong Wenwu, Director of the Chongqing Office of the Hong Kong Commercial Daily, visited our university. Vice President Qu Zhong, along with representatives from the School of Civil Affairs and Social Governance, the School of Digital and Intelligent Finance, the School of Business, the School of Smart Healthcare and Wellness, and the International Cooperation and Exchange Center, attended the meeting. At the meeting, Qu Zhong, on behalf of the school, extended a warm welcome to Tong Wenwu and provided a comprehensive overview of CQCMC’s basic profile and current status of its internationalization efforts. He noted that the school has always been committed to internationalization and hoped that through cooperation and exchange with the Chongqing office of the Hong Kong Commercial Daily, it can further expand opportunities for collaboration with relevant institutions in Hong Kong and jointly advance the internationalization of vocational education to a higher level. 相关阅读
Tong Wenwu expressed his sincere gratitude for the school’s warm hospitality and provided an overview of the history of the Hong Kong Commercial Daily as well as the basic operations of its Chongqing office. He hoped to use this exchange as an opportunity to gain insight into the development and needs of vocational education at the school, while also establishing connections with Hong Kong institutions to actively expand interaction and cooperation between Hong Kong and Chongqing, thereby achieving complementary strengths, mutual benefit, and shared development.
Representatives from each of the secondary schools briefed Director Tong on the development of their academic programs, and presented their ideas for potential collaboration with institutions in Hong Kong.
Finally, the two parties reached a preliminary agreement on cooperation in areas such as joint student training, faculty and student exchanges, and talent exchange and recruitment in specialized fields including smart elderly care, infant and toddler care, social work, logistics management, and big data finance.
