Chongqing City Management University(CCMU) was founded in 1984. It is a public, full-time institution of higher education established by the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government and jointly operated under an agreement between the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the Chongqing Municipal People’s Government. And It has been recognized as a “National Civilized Campus,” a construction unit of high-level specialized clusters with Chinese characteristics, and a national model backbone higher vocational college. CCMU comprises 10 secondary schools: the School of Marxism, the School of Civil Affairs and Social Management, the School of Business, the School of Big Data and Information Industry, the School of Intelligent Engineering, the School of Digital Finance and Economics, the School of Culture and Tourism, the School of Smart Healthcare and Wellness, the School of General Education, and Rongchang College. It offers 49 majors and has approximately 15,000 students enrolled. The number of faculty and staff is about 1,000, including 311 professors and associate professors and over 370 industry experts and skilled professionals from enterprises to serve as part-time teacher. CCMU places great emphasis on internationalization, and has developed cooperation and partnership with educational institutions and Chinese enterprises in more than 30 countries, including Germany and South Africa. What’s more, the college has established several overseas project bases, such as the Vocational Education Center and the Panda Academy.In 2011, CCMU was the first higher vocational college in Chongqing to admit international students. Since then, it has educated more than 1,800 international students—both long-term and short-term, and trained over 10,000 local professionals abroad.
